Speaking to others about yourself

is a very odd thing to do

Especially when you hate yourself

Or your confidence is askew 

But. 

Writing a poem about yourself 

In a form of hysterical rant

Is better to see, can write confidently 

Even though you feel utterly pants

Speaking to others about yourself

Is something some never will see

Depression is bad, the topic is sad

It is hard to be open and free

But. 

Writing a poem about yourself 

Is something I could do all the time

I will show honesty, I must talk about me

Long as it's in the form of a rhyme
