National poetry writing month
A month of madness

My mind is a seperate entity

Day 39

My mind wanders on its own
I give it no permission
It thinks about the oddest things
Lacking inhibition
If I did always heed its view
I'd always be in dangers
For if my mind got its way
I would take sweets from strangers

Now and then when I'm in town
A person may be rude
And if I said what's on my mine
My answer would be crude
My mind is free, ideas its shows
when people are unfair
But punching someone in the face
Is nothing I would dare.
