To Mick and Sue

dedicted to Mick of Mickster of the Halibet clan. and his lovely wife Sue

When i am down and feeling blue
i ring up mick and my dear sue
What ever i have on my mind
their words are sweet and always kind
Ive been through much in these ten years
helping me through all my pain and tears
when i am down and I need to moan
they will always pick up that old phone
and make me laugh or just say nought
and let me cry and sometimes shout
I owe them the world. I owe them so much
where ever i am they will always stay in touch

--------------

That old Mick he said to me
an otters came and sat by me
while i was fishing for my tea
that otter came and sat by me

The otter said catch me a fish
one that is bigger than my dish
and i will then grant you a wish
that otter said to me

A fish i said giving it a wink
for an otter? i need to think
i really thought you were a mink
the otter glared at me

A bloody Mink? the otter said
you really aint right in the 'ead
maybe you should go to bed
and have another think

Well said mick, i think i do
and i think i also need a brew
but least you ain't a Pygmy shew
cos that would just get silly

-----------------------

Oh buy sue a cat
a furry one with a witches hat
One that curls up on the mat
and purrs when you are near

Oh buy sue a cat
to catch you a  mouse
a bunny, hare or nice fat grouse
it goes quite well with tatties

oh buy Sue a cat
you can call it Hue
or barny, pepper or even Poo
or some god awful name

Oh go on buy Sue a cat
it can be her pet. her thing
what joy and love it would bring
and it doesnt need bloody walkies.
