National poetry writing month
A month of madness

Friday of a darker hue

It's black Friday in the USA
And there it should now stay
The British Isles have no need
For sales are every day

No need to rush and buy this stuff
No need to push or shoot
You do not need a telly
When there's three found in your boot.

Why are you shouting at the staff
Be kind its not their fault
There's bound to be some whiskey
in your favorite malt

There's fighting in the shop aisle
Some women shout and bark
They throw their fists up madly
to snatch a stuffed Aardvark
