Coffee, id rather have tea

I cannot start without a Coffee
I hear those strange folks say
Id rather have a good brew
At the early start of day

It needs a time to brew up
In a pot that's made for one
Just enough to feed my chickens
Let them run in morning sun

A stir or two is needed
Check the colour 'not too thick'
Add milk first in the teacup
And don't pour the tea too quick

Now I may add cubes to like it
Cos I like my sugar fix
Then I sit and drink my first cup
While I eat my Weetabix
