Remember Lewes bonfire

Remember this reason
In the November season
is a time for some beer by the pump

Of torchlights a flaming
And a ritual like maiming
like blowing peeps up.....like that Trump!

So thousands go gather
Talk old bonfire blather
Old Lewes the town is quite full
Nuns and duchesses
 men wearing dresses
It's not the time to act really cool

A lovely addition
for an Autumn tradition
In our land that is Sussex by the sea
But there is now a warning
and a hangover in the morning
Do keep away if You're P.C*
