The veil. (day 12)

Dryad By Audrey Haney.

Do we wonder what is beyond the Veil?
Between our world and fairy-tales
where dryads prance in pale moon light
where gods and giants fight.

Where dragons hide in ancient caves
Where only heroes can be brave
Witches dance, the moon stays bright
for those with magic sight

Within the trees green faces smile
to shade a man who walks for miles
He shares his stories of herbal lore
Maybe a little more

The Fey are shy but fly with bees
You hear then sing about the trees
They ride the backs of woodland beasts
and join then in a feast

So do you wonder what's beyond the veil
Our faith is myths and fairy-tales
Just do believe, that's all I'll say
You'll find the veil one day
