And ode to the humble bailing twine

Oh bailing twine
Of binder string
what joy to folk
you always bring
such many things
for you we use
from fixing posts
to birthing ewes
For washing lines
for skipping ropes
for towing cars
up hilly slopes
For doggy leads
for butting goats
for shutting gates
for mending coats
For marking out
a line of seeds
for tieing up
some cut down weeds
for mending saddles
for mending straps
for horsey rugs
for leather chaps
For bucket handles
for lacing boots
for hamock making
for tieing shoots
For broken tents
for tethering
oh what joy
this twine does bring.

well apart from using it to make
 Macrame'
