National poetry writing month
A month of madness

Thursday, 6 September 2018

A tiny tired ode that got longer

Todays number I cant remember

Today I am blank in head
An early night for me in bed
With no dinner, I've not fed
So this little ode will do

I really hope there's no complaining
This mental block it has me straining
I haven't had no poem training
So this  ode will have to do

What's that? I hear my mind unknot
My fingers shout we will boycott
A writing rhythm takes a shot
For this little ode for you

My eyes are saying terminate
Please fingers stop its getting late
This humans in a right old state
To make an ode for you
