A nautical adventure

Day 174

My old friend he has a yacht
He said lets sail the seas
So I donned myself a sailors cap
and some padding for my knees

I looked upon old Google
For all nautical terms
I thought if I'd be sailing
It was something I should learn

I turned up at the jetty dock
And saw a Yacht so fine
I pointed at the four mast yacht
He said. No that's not mine

And just behind that mighty ship
Another came to view
A teeny little fishing  boat
Its masts were minus two

I should have known by looking
This boat would have no speed
No rope was holding it in place
Just some old bungee lead

Heave ho! My friend did utter
The anchor we must bring
Not sure it was an anchor
Just a brick tied up with string

And so we both departed
This wouldn't bring much joy
We were two yards from the jetty
When we collided with a buoy
