Stay

Day belated 90. Wrote three minutes past midnight.

I sometimes feel mental health
has me on a lead
A collar wrapped around my neck
So it can mislead me

It says that it protecting me
from dangers in my way
And trains me with panic
every single day

It pull away at other folk
tells me that they all bite
And even told me yesterday
never go out at night

Just stay inside like a good pet
You have no need to wander
But freedom is my biggest dream
and something I do ponder

My urge to break with come one day
and I will break away
And stick my collar on mental health
Go out and just say STAY.
