Summers here (day 21)

I always know when summers here
For the sight of friends returning
on the wing
Swallows come

When the wind changes south
And the daffodils have nearly finished.

The summer comes on wings
Gathering on telephone wires
Dancing high in the sky
With swifts and house martins.
