Colour (day 4)

I have decided to again use a prompt and will be using Christina Rossetti poem 'Color' for my inspiration

I apologise for the shortness of the poem. I have been quite ill today and could not all the colours I have planned.

What is Red? Embarrassment.
Sometimes anger with resent
Says beware! Do not go
Is colour of blood that flows
for valentines sweethearts

What is Orange? A fruity food
A time not to be in the mood
The sun, warmth and time of year
Of ripe harvest cheer
Of Autumn leaves falling

What is Yellow? Bright and bold
To say I'm here. Can be gold
The colour of spring flowers
and for those who cover
For yellow bellies hide

What is White? Cold snow
Bright lights that show.
Virgins, maids in traditions
Purity with superstition
Good versus evil, fairy tales
The moons shining rays

What is Green? the colour of life
Mother nature and the wood wife
Of summer trees and relaxation
Of sunny days and meditation.
It means anew for learning
