they are ugly little things
no pink skirts
and silver plated wings.
Don’t carry wands
 wishes they don’t grant
can be nasty little buggers
when you hear them chant.
Keep away from toadstools
when you find them in a loop
the little fairy bastards
will get you when you snoop.
They like to steal from humans
don’t blame them anyway
they like things that are shiny
cunning little fey.
Try not to make them loyal
they will never leave
hang around in kitchens
and pets they like to tease.
wonder why it bit you
your normal docile pet
it’s bound to be those fairies
I can almost now bet.
Feel free to leave some cream out
but at your neighbours door
the one you really dislike
the bully one and more.
The fairies now will like you
but leave you well at alone
and just annoy the neighbour
and drive him from his home.
