Halloween time

 Tis near the time of Halloween

When costumed kids come near

Remember, always time for fun

For japes and games and FEAR!

Make lollies from the dripping pan

Use up that cup of lard

Just freeze them lovely overnight

To make them nice and hard

A trotter from a random pig

Goes well with buttercream

Just decorate it with a bow

And wait to hear the scream

Forget those toffee apples now

They're far too kind and sweet

Just use a radish on a stick

They look so good to eat

Coat Brussel sprouts with chocolate

That cooking chocolates best

That cheap stuff found in Lidl 

It Will make those kiddies stressed

Buy coloured film to wrap them nice

And place them in some foam

The little sods will never know

till they are back at home
