A month of madness

Treasure hunters.

Here they come the treasure hunters
Metal detectors in hand.
What sort of treasures
will they find at leisure
in a field just over me land.

They once found a rare ring
thought it was the real thing
with a name stamped on the side
Celtic name was Pepsi
the tribal name sugar free
found pretty much everywhere world wide

In a village called Nutley
under the community beech tree
they found a pagan burial hole
Animal bones a plenty!
well at least over twenty
and a collar and kitty cats bowl!

Still not that down hearted
Eastbourne beach they had started
they found  an old world war mine
digging rather discreetly
and everso neatly
they said that the old thing was fine

One of them slapped it
another one tapped it
it was nice to find a little trove
It started humming
and they started running
and they heard the explosion in Hove.
